The Meat Hose is unseen. The Meat Hose is unsaid. You’ve probably experienced the artistry of one recently, at least 2nd or 3rd hand. Its role is only known to a select few, and for good reason: to know the Meat Hose changes everything.

MEAT HOSE is a 10-page, mixed media graphic novel (novella?) by Alex Davis with a epiphanic mystery at the center that may change the way you look at your comfortable, everyday bubble.

2020 was a nightmare, but what emerged from the time spent in my Los Angeles bunker was not just a noisome, often caustic promo producer in his 30’s— each word and shape and panel of MEAT HOSE is a painstakingly hand-crafted, homestyle mixed media love letter to comics.

Plus there’s an amazing Hardy Boys-style cover painted by the incredible Deb Bush Roland. Plus my buddy Dean Landers leant his grossly talented artistry to the final, bonkers page. The support for this project by friends and family has been tremendous and I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out.
